About Gatehouse
The two best things about the Gatehouse are its location and staff.
Directly on the beach, just a few feet away from the water, the Gatehouse's quiet location is near the middle of Negril's seven mile white sand
beach. That means that restaurants, bars, music venues and other activities are all just a short walk away.
Diana found the property and Tony cleared back the bush to make room for the construction of the Gatehouse and has been running it ever since.
Joan has been with the Gatehouse for over 10 years and will make sure your rooms are clean and tidy. She will also prepare meals for an extra fee
and do a grocery run also for an extra fee...no problem.
All of Jamaica's finest activities are nearby, including: scuba diving, snorkeling, golf, tennis, and of course, simply relaxing.
Niah's (next door) prepares traditional Ital food (Jamaican veggie dishes)
In the mood for a private party of any size? Ask Tony about his famous Jerk Chicken and Grilled Lobster barbecue parties right on the property
next to the bar.
The Rooms and Suites
The Gatehouse is comprised of four very large bedrooms, each with their own entrance, shower and bathroom. We also have a fully equipped
kitchen that can be used when renting the entire villa or the apartment which includes the downstairs suite, kitchen and front room.
The Upstairs Suite
This is the largest room(18'X40'), with a king-size bed, a ceiling fan and a private verandah for watching the sunset.
It includes his and her vanity areas, with a large open shower. (suite E on the villa floor plan)
The Front Room
This is the ocean view room on the ground floor. It has a ceiling fan, bathtub/shower and is just steps away from the water,
with a beautiful view through the arched window. (suite D on the Villa floor plan)
The Downstairs Suite
This suite offers a king-size bed, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, walk in closet, and shower. Adding an extra bed is never a problem.

The Garden Room
This quiet room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a ceiling fan and is very large so adding an extra bed is no problem.

Tony's Hut
Tony's hut opens in the late afternoon for your enjoyment. The bar is only a few feet from the water.
At the bar you can lie in the hammock and listen to the light surf, while enjoying your favorite drink or watch the sunset while
listening to some easy going reggae music.
