Tour Descriptions

THE JITNEY TOUR
A historical tour of the Prospect Estate with a bird's eye view of the magnificent White River Gorge. Watch "Farmer Brown" climb a 30 foot coconut tree. Discover the medicinal secrets of the local fruits and view hundreds of trees planted by famous and influential people. Visit the Great House and stroll through the garden.
Suitable for all ages.
This tour is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant.

THE "MUD BUGGY" TOUR
Includes driving the exhilarating Mud Buggies, off road, through magnificent tropical scenery. Guests will watch "Farmer Brown" climb a 30 foot coconut tree. Discover the medicinal secrets of local fruits and then sample delicious and exotic fares. Get wet and dirty while driving on the muddy, rigorous trails.
Minimum age is 6 years old.
Must be a licensed driver to operate Mud Buggy.

CAMEL RIDING
Includes a Camel Trek Safari Experience. Take an exciting ride through the Camel Trek trails, through the lush canopy of the Prospect estate on a gentle giant. Afterwards, enjoy a few photo ops while cuddling with the camels.
Minimum age is 4 years old.
There is a weight restriction of 250 lbs.
This tour is not recommended for pregnant women

SEGWAY TOUR
Includes riding an eco-friendly personal transport machine called the Segway, while observing medicinal plants and sampling luscious fruits. Guests will watch "Farmer Brown" climb a 30 foot coconut tree and ride, interact, cuddle, and take photos with camel. Learn the history of the estate, visit the Great House, and stroll through the beautiful garden.
Children must be 10 years and older to participate.
This tour is not recommended for those who are pregnant, or for those persons who are limited to a wheelchair.
There is a weight restriction of 250 lbs.

HORSEBACK RIDING
Enjoy a horseback ride on a spectacular trail that passes through primeval forest with views of the White River.
Children must be 10 years or older to participate, and must be accompanied by an adult.
This tour is not recommended for those who are pregnant.

FLAVOURS OF JAMAICA TOUR
Enjoy your visit to the Great House where your cooking experience begins. Walk through the ornamental garden and see herbs and tropical plants while being educated about the history of the estate. Commence your cooking experience on the veranda of the historical and majestic Great House. Prepare Jamaican dishes such as Jerked Chicken, Festival, Shrimp Run Down, Steamed Callaloo, Rice and Peas, and enjoy your delicious meal with red wine or fruit punch, while overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
This tour is not recommended for persons who will have an allergic reaction to shrimp or peanuts.
Children must be 8 years and older to participate.

Each activity lasts for 20 minutes and activities start at 9:00 AM

PLEASE NOTE:

• Guests will be required to sign a waiver form for Admission, and any of the activities
• These activities can be purchased on site at the Park in addition to packages
• Reservations are required. Confirmation for all interaction programs are confirmed by payment

Conditions and Policies

CHILDREN POLICY:

• Children 1 to 12 years or older must be accompanied by adult for all tours
• Children ages 13 years or above can participate in any program alone, except the Mud @Buggy Tour and Flavours of Jamaica Tour
• Infants from 1 to 3 years are free for the Jitney Tour
• Children 6-12 years pay Child Rates
• Children 13 years and older pay Adult Rates

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Cancellations made 24 hours or less - no refund (1 day)
• Cancellations made 48 hours or less - a 50% cancellation fee will be charged (2 days)
• Cancellations made 96 hours or less - a 25% cancellation fee will be charged (4 days)
• Cancellations made more than 96 hours or less - a full refund (4 days)

PREGNANT WOMEN POLICY:
Pregnant women can participate in the Flavours or Jamaica Tour. Women within 3 months of pregnancy can participate in the Jitney Tour, but not for the other tours.

NOTES:

• There is no limit on the time guests may stay at the Park. Opening hours 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily.
• Photos are available for sale for all tours
• Yaaman offers a variety of snack and beverages on sale, including the world famous Red Stripe beer and Blue Mountain coffee.
• Jamaica Onestop accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or check in advance of arrival
• No outside Food or Drinks will be permitted on property
• It is recommended that valuables not be brought on the tour
• Guests are allowed to bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent
• Have lunch at the Garden Grill restaurant and have a cool drink mix at the bar
• Shop for jewellery, hand crafted items, and unique souvenirs
• All Yaaman tours includes a visit to the bird aviary to view our exotic birds
