Sunset at the Palms - A Secret Oasis
When you first step foot into Sunset at the Palms in Negril, Jamaica, you notice the serenity and untouched beauty that comes with this resort – nestled into the tropical gardens and flowering plants at the edge of Negril, it is truly Jamaica’s “Capital of Casual”. With specials frequent throughout the year, it’s no wonder Budget Travel named it a “Honeymoon Paradise for Less”. Yet we’ve found it to be a less travelled all-inclusive than their Couples neighbours, and we’d like to explain why it shouldn’t be.
Set Apart
Sunset at the Palmsis located just off the beaten path, while still being close enough to the famous 7-mile beach that’s it’s only a short cab ride away. If the hustle and bustle of the main beach is not your thing, though, there’s five acres of private, white-sand beach exclusive to Sunset at the Palms guests across the road from the main resort. On the garden side are 85 “treehouse-style” guestrooms that dot the ten acres of tropical paradise, with gorgeously looming palm trees, with hummingbirds that stop to taste the feeders placed strategically along the paths of the tranquil space.
Luxury
With the design and décor of Sunset at the Palms being world class, they also have fine and casual dining that is a cut above. Though the restaurants and bars are less in number than the bigger all-inclusives, the intimacy of the resort doesn’t call for more than what they offer. With three restaurants and four bars, and a chef hosted dinner option, you are sure to be satisfied throughout your stay.
Besides several dining options for everyone’s taste buds, they also have an array of activities available for their guests, including:
